I am an Independent Financial Adviser with over 12 years experience of giving face-to-face advice in the Halifax and West Yorkshire area. I pride myself on providing personalised, tailored solutions to a vast range of personal financial scenarios in a down-to-earth, easily understood way. I usually see my clients in the comfort of their own home at a time to suit them. I consider myself to be a ‘general practitioner’ IFA, giving advice on all areas of financial planning, as I firmly believe that long-term financial planning can only be truly effective if all aspects are considered. In conjunction with this, I tend to work towards building long-term relationships with my clients, altering financial plans to suit changing circumstances, and building a long-term understanding of my clients’ needs, aspirations, and attitude to risk and reward. Areas of advice that I typically cover are: investments & savings, pre retirement, at retirement, mortgages, life insurance, health insurance, income protection insurance, and inheritance tax planning. I also advise on more complex cases, including Trusts, but this type of advice is typically included with the above areas as necessary. In addition, I am quite happy to assist small and medium sized businesses with any financial advice needs they might have, including pensions and staff benefits schemes. I also have links with accountants and solicitors to assist my clients if necessary. Initial meetings are free and without obligation in order to discuss your needs and how I might be able to help. Potential future costs and preferred payment method (fees or commission) are discussed at the initial meeting and are always agreed in advance. |
