First Service Financial Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) in Stourbridge, was established in 2001 by the principal, Jonathan Plant.

Jonathan has worked as an Independent Financial Adviser for Jardines (where he looked after members of the British Veterinary Association and National Pharmaceutical Association), before moving on to Hogg Robinson, where his roles included operating Solicitors Financial Services with Law Society Members and running Hoggs military business in the Midlands.

After a spell with LEBC Group, he set up his own practice on September 11th, 2001 (a date he will never forget!).

Jonathan Plant is Past Chairman of the West Midlands Branch of the Personal Finance Society, and additional qualifications include the Chartered Insurance Institutes Advanced Financial Planning Certificate (AFPC), including special papers on Pensions (G60), Taxation and Trusts (G10), and Personal Financial Planning (G20). He also is a facilitator for SOFA, helping on courses to enable Financial Advisers to obtain additional qualifications. He also holds the Institute of Financial Services Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), and offers full and unbiased mortgage advice.
